PYGEUM (Pygeum Africanum)

In Europe, Pygeum is the preferred treatment for BPH, a condition of a congested and enlarged prostate, accompanied by diminished urine flow,
and increased urination, especially at night. It reduces inflammation of the prostate, Pygeum contains compounds that limit androgen synthesis which plays a key role in prostate disease by blocking the entry and breakdown
of cholesterol in the prostate. This encourages the production of certain
prostaglandins that exhibit anti-inflamatory action.
