Fenugreek is a tonic, astringent, demulcent, emollient, and expectorant. It is most commonly used for relief of mucous congestion in the lungs and Digestive tract.  It is soothing and lubricating to the stomach and bowels. Flax is a demulcent, mucilaginous emollient that soothes irritated digestive passages and respiratory systems and promotes the body’s elimination of mucous. Fennel is a carminative, diuretic, diaphoretic, expectorant and stimulant - it is a mild laxative used to relieve digestive gases, soothe an acidic stomach, and irritated or obstructed digestive organs. Peppermint is an aromatic, a stimulant, and carminative, a stomachic that is used for digestive complaints of all kinds, as well as a remedy for colds, fevers and the flu. Licorice is also a carminative, demulcent, and emollient used primarily as a tonic for the blood and lungs, but it has been found to soothe and tone the digestive tract as well. Our Polarity Tea is also used to increase mothers’ milk.
