RECIPE OF THE MONTH

This is from Kaye Willmon’s “Everyday Spice!” cookbook. Kay is one of our customers and she uses our spices and herbs in her recipes. ENJOY!
2/3 cup sugar (try our cane sugars in different flavors to kick it up a notch!)
One cup flour
Dash Salt (remember - use sea salt its better for you!!)
¼ cup pinons, toasted
Preheat oven to 375. Butter two
Combine eggs and sugar in heavy saucepan and whisk constantly over low heat for about 3-5 mins. Remove from heat and whisk until cool. Stir in flour gradually until smooth. Drop teaspoon sizes of about 1” apart on buttered the cookies sheets. Let stand for 5 mins. Place 4 or 5 pinions on top of each cookie and let stand for another 5 minutes. Bake 12 to 15 mins or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets while still warm and cool on racks.
