Turmeric's warm aroma, bright color, and ginger/peppery taste is greatly relied upon in cooking throughout Asia. It's best known as the spice that gives curry powder its distinctive color.
Turmeric has great anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant property which reduces inflammation and a strong a person’s immunity respectively. The turmeric roots include a good amount of vitamin C, vitamin B, iron, magnesium, and potassium.
