Throat Soother Tea
This formula was created to help sooth your throat and lessen cold and flu symptoms.

Licorice root contains ‘glycyrrhizin,’ which inhibits the growth of viruses, germs, and bacteria. It also promotes the production of interferon and activates white blood cells. It soothes and heals inflamed mucous membranes. It helps loosen and expel phlegm. The beneficial part of the Osha plant is the root, which has long been used and considered sacred by Native Americans for cold, cough, and respiratory ailments. The root contains oils, including camphor, saponins, ferulic acid, terpenes, and phytosterols. Because of these, Osha Root is, arguably, the best American herb for lung and throat problems. Cinnamon has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Marshmallow is a demulcent; internally it has a soothing effect on inflammation and irritation of the alimentary canal and of the urinary and respiratory organs. Wild Cherry calms the respiratory nerves, coughs and asthma. As an expectorant, Horehound works to treat coughs and colds. It affects respiration directly by dilating vessels.
