ST. JOHNS WORT
Its reputation as a majical herb is due to the fact that the flower bleeds red when pressed between the finger. Since the Middle Ages, St. John's Wort
has symbolized the blood of Christ or St. John. Today it is found to be beneficial in healing wounds and is especially good for dirty, septic wounds.
St. John's Wort helps in ridding the lungs and chest of mucus. It is used to
treat nervous system conditions such as depression, neuralgia, anxiety and nervous tension. It helps relieve pain, reduce swelling, treat abscesses, burns and bruises, as well as insect bights, plus ease the pain of rheumatism and arthritis.
