We had fun creating this tea - what is more healing than having root beer; where else can your family enjoy real healthy and great root beer!

We used the Stevia Root Beer flavor to perfect it. Sarsaparilla and Sassafras are the herbs from which root beer is made and a genuine root beer is actually very good for you. Sarsaparilla is a blood-purifying herb for nitrogen-based waste products such as uric acid. It is used as a treatment for liver problems, rheumatism, hormone imbalances and skin disorders. Sassafras stimulates liver action that clears toxins from the body making it an excellent treatment for all internally caused skin disorders. It is a blood cleanser and helps relieve pain brought on by inflammatory skin diseases. It also helps adjust the hormonal balance in the body and aids the pituitary gland in releasing an ample supply of protein. Burdock also works on the pituitary gland helping it to release protein in proper amounts, thus maintaining hormonal balance for a healthy body. Dandelion Root continues to be used by European herbalists to treat diabetes and liver diseases - they regard Dandelion as one of the best herbs for building up the blood and for helping with anemia. Dandelion greens contain 7,000 units of Vitamin A per ounce. It has also been used for calcium deficiencies. Because it is a high density nutrient food, it is considered a valuable survival food.
