Alfalfa Is one of the most nutritious foods available. It helps the body assimilate protein, calcium, and other essential nutrients. Red Raspberry has been used to promote healthy skin, teeth, bones, and heart health. It contains anti-viral properties that help fight viral diseases. It is also proven to have a balancing effect on hormone levels and promotes tissue healing. Red raspberry is rich in iron and calcium and contains phosphorus and manganese; it contains Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. Rosehips are rich in Vitamin C, D, E, A, and the B-s. They also have some Vitamin D and iron, calcium, sodium, potassium, sulfur, and silica. Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties and anti-bacterial properties. It helps cleanse the liver and promotes natural hormones. Burdock root is one of the best blood purifiers of all herbs. It contains high amounts of insulin, a form of starch responsible for some of its healing properties and carbohydrate metabolism. Oat Straw helps hold calcium in the body and is very high in silica. Nettles have calcium, chlorophyll, chromium, copper, iron, manganese, potassium, protein, silicon, sodium, sulfur, Vitamins A, C, D, E, F, and P, and zinc. Rich in iron, Nettles are vital for good circulation. Squaw Vine is a uterine tonic and will relieve congestion of the uterus and ovaries. It is known to work on the uterine muscles during delivery, to speed up delivery and regulate contractions.

Prenatal Support Tea

  • Ingredients: Alfalfa Leaves, Red Raspberry, Rosehips, Chamomile, Burdock Root, Oatstraw c/s, Oat Heads, Nettle Leaves, Squaw Vine, Partridge Berry, and Ginger Root. HERBAL DECOCTION: Place 1 ¼ cup of water in pan with 1½ tsp. roots, heat slowly and simmer covered for 10-15 minutes. The longer you simmer the herbs, the stronger the tea will be. Strain into a cup and serve.
