This tea will help ease your flu symptoms.
The flu is caused by the influenza virus. It can last as long as three or four weeks, with coughs lingering even longer. Aches and pains accompany the flu, as well as a cough, headache, fevers, and a feeling of weakness. Boneset is excellent for the flu and colds, it stimulates the liver to eliminate toxins and strengthens the stomach and spleen. Rosehips are rich in vitamin C, and well-known for fighting colds. They help inflamed ears, eyes, nose, and throat. Elderberry helps fight infections, assists healing, and helps eliminate symptoms. Licorice root contains glycyrrhizin, which inhibits the growth of viruses, germs, and bacteria. It also activates the body's interferon and increases white blood cells. Ginger is beneficial for colds and flu. It helps relieve pain and nausea. The beneficial part of the Osha plant is the root, which has long been used and considered sacred by Native Americans for colds, coughs, and other respiratory ailments. The root contains oils, including camphor, saponins, ferulic acid, terpenes, and phytosterols. Because of the range of elements it has, Osha root is, arguably, the best American herb for lung and throat problems. Cinnamon relieves the digestive tract and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial qualities.
