Roasted Chicory Root provides a bittersweet taste that resembles but,(coffee lovers will agree!), does not duplicate that of coffee. Some coffees offer blends with up to 30 percent chicory, to cut down on the caffeine content of the blend.
Directions: To use as a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 tsp. of Chicory Root, cover and steep 3-5 min. Enjoy!
