We created this tea to help with the side effects of chemo.  
Cat’s Claw helps support the body during chemotherapy and radiation in cancer patients, it helps protect the body from harmful environmental substances. It has the ability to act as an anti-oxidant in protecting the body from free-radical damage and destroying or neutralizing carcinogens before they can damage the cells. Astragalus has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for thousands of years as an energy tonic and to enhance the immune system. Studies by the American Cancer Society show the positive effects of Astragalus on the immune systems of cancer patients. Those patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy recovered faster and lived longer if they took Astragalus during treatment. Pau d’ Arco has been used to treat cancer since the 1970s. Many individuals take it when undergoing radiation and chemo in order to strengthen the body and help prevent the resulting side effects. It has the ability to increase the hemoglobin and red corpuscles in the blood. It gives the body greater vitality by increasing its resistance to disease. Jasmine has been produced in China for nearly 700 years and is the most popular Chinese flavored tea. Jasmine is loaded with powerful anti-oxidants known as catechins that offer many health benefits, including a reduced risk of cancer, lower heart rate, blood pressure, incidence of stroke and lower cholesterol levels. Rose Petals contain high levels of Vitamin C, a powerful anti-oxidant. This important vitamin helps protect skin cells from damage.

Chemo Support

  • Ingredients: Cat’s Claw, Astragalus, Pau d’ Arco, Jasmine, Blueberry Rooibos, Rose Petals, and Ginger Root. HERBAL DECOCTION: Place 1 ¼ cup of water in pan with 1 ½ tsp. herbs, heat slowly and simmer covered for 10-15 minutes. The longer you simmer the herbs, the stronger the tea will be. Strain into a cup and serve.
