This tea was created to help benefit the cells in our body. Honeybush tea is derived from plants in the Cyclopia family, and is highly regarded for its impact on our health. It is a natural source of many anti-oxidants, including major phenolic compounds. Phenolic compounds play a significant role in protecting the immune system from oxidative stress, which damage cells. Green Tea is high in anti-oxidants - it is loaded with polyphenols like flavonoids and catechins. These substances can reduce the formation of free radicals in the body, protecting our cells and molecules from damage. These free radicals are known to play a role in aging and many diseases. Milk Thistle is a hepatic, its bioflavonoid content accounts for anti-oxidant properties. It also stimulates protein synthesis. Rosehips has one of the plant world’s highest concentrations of Vitamin C, plus it is rich in Vitamins E, A, and B-complex. Rosehips also has some Vitamin D and contains iron, calcium, sodium, potassium, sulfur, and silica. In China, it is said that eating Goji Berries (Lycii Berry) in the morning will ensure that there will be many smiles throughout the day. For this reason, Goji is commonly referred to as “happy berry” in China. It is also thought that regular consumption of the fruit leads to long life. Goji provides many times more anti-oxidants than many other fruits and vegetables, including blueberries and spinach. In addition, Goji berries pack 22 trace minerals and nearly a dozen essential fatty acids. Goji berry is very nutrient rich with anti-oxidant properties and essential fatty acids that are generally rare in fruits.

Cell Guard Tea

  • Ingredients: Honeybush Rooibos, Green Tea (Blancha), Milk Thistle, Rosehips, Ginger Root, Lycii Berry Powder, and Grapefruit Seed Extract. HERBAL INFUSION: Bring water to a boil and turn off heat. Add 1 tsp. herb per 1 cup of water. Let sit covered for 10 minutes before straining. Always shake condensation from the lid covering back into the tea. Add honey or lemon to taste. Enjoy hot or iced.
